Opening day is a good one for the Brewers, as they beat Pittsburg 9-2. Cirillo knocked in 2 of the 9 runs on an rbi double,
and the other on a home run. Cirillo also scored 2 runs, drew a walk, and went 2-3 in the game. Nice opener for Jeff!
Ben Sheets got the win, pitching 7 innings, striking out 6, allowing 2 earned runs, and walking none. Phelps and Wise
put in a scoreless inning each to close the deal.
Other Brewers notables: J.J. Hardy and Brady Clark also had 2 Rbi. Cirillo and Jenkins each had 6 total bases.
